Today we celebrate the birthday of one of America’s true visionaries, Dr. Martin Luther King.
There is so much to be joyful about today – so much progress which is a direct result of his work – not the least of which is that America elected its first black president in 2008. But there’s also much to be disappointed about… recovering from centuries of oppression doesn’t happen quickly enough…
Today, maybe we can all spend a little time remembering. MLK’s life, his work, his dreams. And tomorrow, let’s all work harder to make every one of them a reality.
